It's been that kind of week. The nausea is under control, but Joshua has had a couple of bad nights of pain. At least we were able to get a pain patch back on him. We'll work on getting the dosage of that up. We're at the point where we're going to need to keep him a little more sedated in order to keep him comfortable. For those of you wondering exactly what he's taking: methadone 3 times/day, a fentanyl patch that gets changed every 3 days, Atavin twice a day (a sleeping pill that we're giving him to keep him relaxed although it doesn't necessarily put him to sleep), and oxycodone in liquid form every 4 hours. Plus two medications to keep the nausea at bay; this nausea is a side effect of the above medications.

I had another night of no sleep, so I'll try to get some rest this afternoon.
