Just time for a quick note this morning. We got the hospital bed for Joshua yesterday and the apartment is completely disheveled. Hopefully, we'll get it all put back into relative order today. I never realized how much Joshua's neatness rubbed off on me over the past 11 years. I find that the clutter intensifies my anxiety.

But, back to the patient. He is incredibly weak and is basically bedridden at this point. He doesn't always realize that and at times will want to get up. Part of his disorientation is due to the medications. He is still eating, albeit very little, and sleeps much of the time.

We're sending our prayers and love to you both. It was a wonderful gift to see Joshua a few weeks ago. Cancer certainly hasn't gotten the better of his wonderful sense of humor.

Laura,
This is Susie from San Antonio. I've been thinking of you and Joshua and wanted you to know that you are in my prayers. You, Laura, are an amazingly strong woman. Also, thank you for sharing your mom with me. She is an incredible woman! It runs in the family!I will continue to pray for God's peace for you and Joshua.
