Saw the doctor yesterday afternoon. No major changes in my condition, but she is setting me up for an MRI as it has been some time since they had a look. I still feel reasonably good, generally pain-free. That said, for the past few weeks, about once a week, I have been hit with big time pain in one arm or the other. Enough to wake me from a deep sleep or if driving, pull over to the side of the road. A good double dose of liquid morphine usually does the trick in 20 or 30 minutes. The fact that I can continue to live a fairly normal like after having battled this cancer for nine years is pretty amazing. We continue to hang in there, to have fun, to enjoy what time we do have, and to be thankful for everything we have.

Hi Josh, I really enjoy your blog. Keep the entries coming!
Oh, and by the way, in you profile photo, you know the shadow picture, well...umm...I think your fly is open...and umm, wow!
Hi Josh & Laura,
sometimes technology is really really useful, and this is probably the first time I've thought that about a blog - but then that's because it's you writing it...
Great to hear you're still getting around and exploring deserts - it reminds me that I first met Joshua on a bus in the Sahara!
Looks like you've got a few visitors through December & January, but I'd like to add myself (& Vali maybe) to the list early in 2008 if possible.
Loads of love from Vali & me,
P.S. the one thing that would make your blog better? For those of us on the other side of the pond - a photo of you guys & Jackson. I know George would appreciate it!
